What divisions does Lutz Baseball offer, including birth date range and cost?

Tee Ball
Fee = $145, Division Director = Carl Dicampli @ juristicone@yahoo.com
Tee Ball Baseball is for boys and girls league age 4 & 5 (birthdate between 5/1/2012 and 4/30/2014) who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding.  In Tee Ball, players hit off of a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching.  The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork.  No live pitching is permitted in this division, and generally the diamond used is a 60-foot diamond, but the league has the option to use a 50-foot diamond. This division will have one designated weeknight practice per week (1 hour) and one game on Saturdays (8 to 10 games).

Pee Wee
Fee = $165, Division Director = Chris Martin @ cmartin_63@hotmail.com
Pee Wee Baseball is for boys and girls league age 5 to 6 (birthdate between May 1, 2011 and April 13, 2013) who should have completed the Tee Ball division.  This is a “coach pitch” division, the first introduction to the children hitting live pitching, and we stress fundamentals and teamwork.  The foundation of Tee Ball should be built upon here. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 40 feet. This division will generally have one designated weeknight practice per week and one game on Saturdays.

Rookie
Fee = $180, Division Director = Mark Pingor @ mpingor@gmail.com
Rookie League Baseball is for boys and girls league age 7 & 8 (birthdate between May 1, 2009 and April 30, 2011) who should have completed both Tee Ball and Pee Wee divisions.  As always, fundamentals are stressed, and at this level you will start to see some skill in throwing, catching and batting.  The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 40 feet. This division will generally have one practice per week plus one weekday and Saturday game.

Minor
Fee = $180, Division Director = Justin Deak @ justindeak@live.com
Minor League Baseball is for boys and girls league age 9 & 10 (birthdate between May 1, 2007 and April 30, 2009). Players build and refine their fundamental skills while beginning to understand game strategy and teamwork. In most regions, participants first experience post-season tournament competition in this level.  There is no coach pitching and the level of competition is a notch higher.  The diamond used is a 65-foot diamond with lead offs and the pitching distance is 46 feet. This division will generally have one practice per week plus one weekday and Saturday game.

Major 50/70
Fee= $180, Division Director = Scott Doxtater @ sdoxtater@gmail.com
Majors (50-70) Baseball is for boys and girls league age 11 & 12 (birthdate between May 1, 2005 and April 30, 2007) and is one of the most popular and exciting divisions we offer.  Execution of fundamentals is much more commonplace at this level, and this is the last division before the “big field”.  The diamond used is a 70-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 50 feet. This division will generally have one practice per week plus one weekday and Saturday game.
